Dear members and friends of St. Peter's Anglican Church,
The peace of the Lord be always with you.
"DO YOU WANT TO BE MADE WELL?" ( John 5:6).
In John 5:6-8 we read:
6 When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” 7 “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.” 8 Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.”
When Jesus saw the man who had been sick for thirty eight years without any one to help him, he had compassion on him.
Do you have a problem that nobody wants to help you?
Jesus wants to help you and says to you: "Get up ! Pick up your mat and walk." God does not want us to dwell on our problems but to get up and start moving on new life.
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10).
May God bless you with your families and friends and protect you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Fr. James Kibe Karanja.
