Dear members and friends of St. Peter's Anglican Church,

The peace of the Lord be always with you.

GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Who is in control of your life?

In Job 2: 3-6 we read: "Then the Lord said to Satan, 'Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason.' 'Skin for skin!' Satan replied. 'A man will give all he has for his own life. But now stretch out your hand and strike his flesh and bones, and he will surely curse you to your face.' The Lord said to Satan, 'Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life.'”

God allowed Satan to test Job but he was instructed to spare his life.

God holds your life as he held that of Job.

Jesus says in Mathew 10: 29-31: "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.[a] And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows."

May God help us to cast our cares upon Jesus as he cares for us. (1 Peter 5:7).

May God bless us with our families and friends and protect us by the precious blood of Jesus. Amen.

Fr. James.
