THE POWER OF PRAYER.
James 5:13-18 says: "Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops."
Have you ever experienced the power of prayer in your life?
James says: "Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray." (James 5:13).
Many people in various problems have prayed and experienced God's power. James gives the example of Elijah who prayed for rain and God answered his prayer ( James 5: 17-18).
Do you know people in the Bible who prayed and God answered their prayers? The same God who answered people in the Bible answers prayer today.
Mathew 18 19-20 says: “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
May God bless you with your families and friends and protect you by the precious blood of Jesus.
