Dear members and friends of St. Peter's Anglican Church,
The peace of the Lord be always with you.
"... Where does my help come from?" ( Psalm 121:1)
Where does your help come from? The source of our help gives us hope and security. In Psalm 121:1-2 King David says that the source of his help was the LORD God, the maker of heaven and earth.
"I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth."
Our help comes from the LORD God who holds authority over heaven and the earth. Therefore we do not fear or worry if we trust in the Lord God the maker of heaven and earth. Mathew 28:18-20 says: "Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'"
In the name of Jesus we have the victory, may God help us to trust in Jesus our Good Shepherd who holds authority over heaven and the earth .
"Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling,
and to present you faultless before the presence
of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise
God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion
and power, both now and ever. Amen."
